Speakers
William Johnson William Johnson, Analyst for the New England Revolution. I have been working with the team for 2 years and studied Computer Science and Statistics at Colby College before graduating in 2022.
Cameron Korb is a Senior Software Engineer at Genius Sports and formerly at Second Spectrum. Cameron joined Second Spectrum in 2019 and works to enhance understanding of Basketball using machine learning techniques and the development of intelligent software. Additional work centers on enhancing fan experience through augmented broadcasts of live sports.
Cameron graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in both Computer Science and Business Analytics. While at MIT, Cameron was a three-time captain of the Men’s Varsity Basketball team.
Mike D’Auria is EVP of Partnerships at Genius Sports and was previously the Chief Commercial Officer at Second Spectrum (acquired by Genius Sports). Mike joined Second Spectrum in 2015 and is a seasoned business and product leader with experience growing both public and private organizations.
Prior to joining Second Spectrum, Mike was the Associate Chief Operating Officer for Uncommon Schools, New York City and worked at Bain & Company, serving clients across industries including private enquiry, technology, and media among others.
Mike graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. While at MIT, Mike was a two-time captain of the Men’s Varsity Basketball team, a Division III All-American, the Northeast Player of the year, and an ESPN/CoSIDA National Academic All-American.
Cody Callahan has worked in various roles within the Baseball Research & Development department at the Arizona Diamondbacks since 2014. Prior to this, Callahan was a Marketing Intern at the same organization. Callahan also gained experience as a Knowledge and Insights Assistant at the Enterprise Marketing Hub at Arizona State University. Cody holds a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from the W. P. Carey School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
Derek Falvey was named President of Baseball Operations in November of 2019 after serving under the title of Executive Vice President, Chief Baseball Officer since October of 2016. Under Falvey’s leadership, the Twins have compiled a record of 538-494 (.521) and have reached the postseason four times in his seven seasons, winning the American League Wild Card in 2017 and the American League Central Division in 2019, '20 and '23. Derek guided a reshaping of Minnesota's major league club prior to the 2019 season, which began with the hiring of manager Rocco Baldelli, who has led the Twins to a record of 375-333, the fifth-most wins in the American League in that span. In addition, the 2019 Twins posted a record of 101-61 for the second-most wins in Twins/Senators franchise history, trailing only the 1965 club that finished 102-60.
