Thabiti Brown
Thabiti Brown, an independent consultant, was a founding teacher and Head of School at Codman Academy. Thabiti is the recipient of a Milken Educator Award, EL Education’s Silverberg Leadership Award and was named a Ten Outstanding Young Leader by the Boston Chamber of Commerce. He serves on a number of boards including the American Repertory Theater Duet.

Sachin Gupta
Sachin Gupta recently accepted a senior role with Chelsea of the English Premier League, focusing on strategy and analytics. He previously served as the executive vice president of Basketball Operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves and spent nearly two decades in management roles in the NBA.

Mike Zarren
Micheal Zarren is the Celtics’ VP of basketball operations and team counsel. Now in his 21st year with the team after starting as an unpaid intern, Mike is widely recognized as one of the leaders in the field of advanced statistical analysis of basketball players and teams, and is an important part of the team’s strategic planning and player personnel evaluation processes. Mike is also the team’s lead salary cap expert and lead in-house counsel for basketball issues, and is responsible for leading the group that develops new technologies for team use, including the team’s statistical database and video archive/delivery system.

Jai Malhotra, Co-Founder
Jai Malhotra co-founded the NHSSAA with Jayan Gandhi in 2024 and led the organization until he graduated from Milton Academy in 2026. During his time at Milton, Jai served as the head of the Sports Analytics Club, attended NBA summer league sessions, played on the varsity basketball team for multiple seasons, and presented at the MIT Sloan Analytics Conference. He has spent his summers doing data analytics for an NBA team and a venture capital firm. Jai will study data science and economics at Northwestern University.
