National High School Sports Analytics Summit 2026

The NHSSAA will hold its third annual National Summit for high school students on March 7, 2026, at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. We will hear from leading industry professionals, have the opportunity to present student research, and network with other like-minded high school students who are passionate about sports analytics. Past National Summits have included featured speeches and presentations from Michael Lewis (author of Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game), Daryl Morey (Philadelphia 76ers President, Basketball Operations), Aaron Schatz (chief analytics officer at FTN Network, creator of many widely used football stats such as DVOA, and NFL analyst for ESPN), Shane Battier (2x NBA Champion, Founder of the Take Charge Foundation), and analysts from teams such as the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Revolution. Students have also presented their own research on topics such as pickleball analytics, technology and machine learning in sports, draft strategy, and new football performance metrics.
