Our Story

We love to discuss sports and subjects associated with sports analytics and data science. We decided to found NHSSAA in 2023 to create a place where high school students can share sports analytics interests and research with each other, learn from industry leading professionals and meet other students similarly passionate about sports analytics. Ours is an inclusive community that welcomes anyone interested in sports analytics, sports management or data science. Data analysis will increasingly play a larger role in decision-making across many fields including sports, and the mission of this organization is to help us grow on our sports analytics and data science journey.

NHSSAA hosts both virtual and in-person events throughout the year. The inaugural in-person event in March 2023 was attended by approximately 120 students from over 40 different schools. We hope you'll join us!
